An accident at a Texas construction site on Thursday afternoon left three workers injured. Two were sent to area hospitals.
At the time of the accident, the three workers were setting decking on tresses. The job site was located at Weatherford Ridge Shopping Center. The workplace accident occurred a when a load of plywood shifted, knocking over the tresses.
According to Weatherford Fire Chief George Teague, all three men were injured when the tresses fell.
One suffered only minor injuries, but another worker suffered head injuries and a compound wrist fracture. He was taken to Weatherford Regional Medical Center by air ambulance. The third worker, who was complaining of back pain, was taken to the same hospital via ground ambulance.
Teague says that all three of the men were conscious and talking when rescuers arrived on the scene.
