Fair Park Rave Takes Second Victim

Last weekend, the Electric Daisy Carnival at Fair Park, a rave attended by several thousand young North Texans, made headlines when a teen from Argyle, Texas, died unexpectedly. Now, the Electric Carnival in under increased pressure after the Dallas Police have reported a second man, 22-year-old Kyle Haigis, died after he ran onto the highway and was hit by an 18-wheeler. Initial reports indicate that Haigis died as a result of a hostile reaction to an illegal drug, ecstasy. Some now believe that the host of the rave, Insomniac Events, might have liability stemming from their role as the organizer of the event.
