McKinney Toddler Killed in Tragic Car Crash

This past weekend a McKinney toddler died in a violent accident on the road between Galveston and Houston. The child, just two weeks shy of her second birthday, was riding in the back seat of a Ford F-150 that was being driven by her mother. With the sun going down, the driver lost control of the truck, slamming into a retaining wall. A motorcycle was involved in the accident, raising questions about whether other cars or drivers might have contributed to the deadly wreck.

Fatal wrecks are all too common on Texas highways. Victims deserve a full-throated defense, regardless of whether they’ve survived the accident. Fortunately for accident victims across the state, the personal injury attorneys at Fears | Nachawati are committed to protecting the legal rights of drivers and passengers. Have you been in a wreck? Another Texas Rangers Fan Injured at the Ballpark in Arlington

An increasing number of Texas Rangers fans have a horrible thing in common: knowing someone who has been injured at the Rangers home stadium, the Ballpark in Arlington. Saturday night a fan was leaving the Ballpark after the Rangers’ loss to the Los Angeles Angels when he fell 21 feet from a concourse stairwell. The fan suffered a significant head injury, losing consciousness and a considerable amount of blood. The accident – yet another accident this summer involving the stadium’s railings – suggests that the stadium’s premises may be unsafe.

Premises liability is an important area of the law. Whether the premises are a friend’s home, a business you frequent, or a multimillion-dollar stadium that hosts your favorite team, hosts owe reasonable protections to their guests. If you’re injured as a result of unsafe premises, your rights may have been violated!

Fears | Nachawati has expert attorneys ready to address whether you have a valid legal claim as a result of the personal injury you sustained. Our personal injury specialists have the training and experience to give you the advice you need! Attending School Shouldn’t Be at Risk to Life and Limb

If you think your workplace has conflict, you ought to talk to the 15 year-old O.D. Wyatt High School student who is now in critical condition. The student was on his way to the cafeteria when two teens confronted him. The sophomore attempted to flee, but his assailants caught up with him just off campus. When the school security officer attempted to stop the attack, one of the school bully’s began fighting with the officer, allowing his partner-in-assault to continue kicking the defenseless victim as he lay on the ground.

The two instigators at O.D. Wyatt have a date with juvenile court, certainly, but they may also face civil sanctions for assault. School children have a right to attend class without being beaten or molested! Fears | Nachawati knows how to protect you and your loved ones. If your child is injured in a school fight, the best place to defend their rights may be the courtroom, not the playground! Call 1.866.705.7584 or email info@fnlawfirm.com for your free consultation. Jet Fuel Tanker Accident Puts North Texas Drivers at Risk

Incredibly, no one was hurt in a truck accident near Roanoke, Texas, just north of Fort Worth, yesterday that destroyed a tanker truck and a Jeep and threatened many more drivers. When the Jeep and truck collided, the truck’s 5,600 gallons of jet fuel detonated, causing a fire that burned for more than five hours.

The accident isn’t particularly remarkable – violent car and truck accidents happen almost every day, but the fact that such a violent wreck didn’t injury anyone is a surprise. With conditions dry and windy, the intense, long-burning fire could have easily started a brush fire similar to the wildfires that have engulfed large areas of Texas this summer. Moreover, head-on collisions between trucks and cars are often fatal – and frequently lead to collateral accidents and injuries, too!

Are you one of the hundreds of Americans involved in a car or truck accident this month? If so, you may need legal protection to help you protect your rights. Give us a call – we’re ready to help you! For your free consultation with a Fears | Nachawati lawyer, call 1.866.705.7584 or send an email to info@fnlawfirm.com. We can help!

Parkland Hospital: A Place That Makes You Sick?

Most people think of a hospital as a place where sick people go to get well. According to reports by federal and state health agencies, however, Dallas’s Parkland Hospital is, for some, a place where they become even less healthy. A few patients have even died as a result of mistakes in hospital management and care.

According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Parkland Hospital has caused or is likely to cause serious injury, harm, impairment, or death to a patient. CMS specifically attributed its concerns to unsanitary conditions and the hospital’s failure to ensure infection control.

Hospital-related injuries are more common than you might think. And at Parkland Hospital, health care-caused injuries and deaths occur with such frequency that regulatory agencies are threatening to take decisive action!

Have you or a loved suffered because of hospital mismanagement? Has their quality of life been reduced rather than improved? You deserve better. Justice is within your reach. Find out how to protect your loved ones by calling Fears | Nachawati today. Just call us at 1.866.705.7584 or send an email to info@fnlawfirm.com. We can help you!

Drunk, Bipolar Fork Lift Operator Leads Police on Low Speed Chase

Earlier this week a fork lift operator – a man suffering from bipolar disorder who hadn’t taken his medication in recent weeks but had been drinking beer earlier in the day – led police on an extremely low speed chase down I-30 near Fort Worth. The episode was both absurdly comic and extremely tragic, highlighting how the combination of illness, substance abuse, and heavy machinery can lead to dangerous results. Finally arrested, the fork lift operator faces charges of aggravated assault, theft, evading arrest, and DWI.

Fears | Nachawati specializes in automobile accidents, particularly accidents caused by drug and alcohol abuse. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fork lift incident, however that’s only a result of luck. D/FW motorists could have been severely injured. If you’ve been injured in a drug or alcohol related accident, you should contact us. For a free consultation, call 1.866.705.7584 or send an email to info@fnlawfirm.com.

Dallas Warehouse Fire Threatens Community

An extremely large warehouse storing, among other items, a variety and large quantity of dangerous, pool-related chemicals caught fire recently, threatening to spread to other buildings in the vicinity. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will soon initiate an investigation of the fire—and for good reason! Chemical fires aerosolize dangerous toxins; water used to put out the blaze also frequently conveys carcinogenic chemical compounds into the water supply.

Fires are dangerous. Chemical fires can be lethal. They often burn hotter and longer, trigger explosions, and spread dangerous toxins into the air and water. Fears | Nachawati understand this. We also understand how to protect you against these risks and, if you’re injured, recover the compensation you deserve. If you’ve been hurt in a chemical fire, give us a call at 1.866.705.7584 or email info@fnlawfirm.com. We can help!

Dallas Firefighter Dies in Apartment Fire

Lt. Todd Krodle, a 17-year veteran of Dallas Fire-Rescue, died late yesterday when he fell through the roof of a burning apartment complex. Knowing that fire was spreading through the attic, Lt. Krodle began using a chainsaw to cut a hole in the roof in order to ventilate the fire and reduce the likelihood of backdraft. Tragically, the roof gave way as Lt. Krodle worked on it, causing him to fall to his death.

Firefighters face unique risks that include smoke inhalation, severe burns, and death. Injury and death is tragically common among public servants like firefighters and police officers. Fort Worth Motorcycle Driver Dies in Crash

A Fort Worth family is struggling to pick up the pieces after their loved one recently died in a motorcycle accident. The accident victim was in Burleson Sunday night when he decided to attempt a wheelie, a cyclist’s trick in which the motorcycle travels on only one tire. The man performed the wheelie successfully, but when he brought the front tire back to the roadway he lost control of the motorcycle, slamming into the signpost that took his life.

The family is now considering painful, challenging questions like how to negotiate with the man’s life insurance company and whether sufficient grounds exist for a wrongful death action. These decisions are tough. They need the help of an expert.

Dallas-Fort Worth is home to thousands of reckless drivers. Negligence can take many forms. Tarrant County Shark Survivor Returns Home
