A D/FW family is without their mother and grandmother because a driver failed to follow the rules of the road. Juana Mancilla died Saturday afternoon when a driver slammed into the passenger side of her son’s Ford Expedition, throwing her from the car and causing the SUV to roll on top of her. The driver and four other passengers – all members of the same family – were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Tragically, although the other members of the family are expected to make a full recovery, they’ll do so without Juana, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
