Major manufacturer Kimberly-Clark confirmed this week that a Dallas-area’s woman tampon did have mold on it, as she suspected. Kimberly-Clark identified the mold as cladosporium, a kind of mold frequently found on fruits and vegetables and which has been known to cause irritation, swelling, and allergic reactions, among other effects.
