Richardson worker injured in fall down stairs

A Richardson office worker was injured today after she fell down a flight of stairs. Investigators report that the worker, a woman, was carrying a stack of papers and walking down a flight of outside stairs when she slipped. The woman tumbled down several steps and apparently broke her ankle in the fall. An onlooker called an ambulance, and the worker was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

2 workers injured in acid spill at Richardson business

Two workers were injured in an acid spill at a Richardson business on Friday. The accident occurred when a valve on a tank broke, causing a spill of approximately 90 gallons of nitric acid. The incident occurred in the 600 block of International Parkway, near Alpha Road. One worker was treated at the scene, while the other injured worker was taken to Methodist Richardson Medical Center for treatment.
