Despite warning signs recently posted by the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), Ronald Nelson of the Woodlands sped down the Tollway during the early morning hours Thursday. The only problem: Nelson was going northbound in the southbound lanes.
Admittedly, being an out-of-town driver didn’t help Mr. Nelson, but driving intoxicated was the real reason that Nelson got turned around. Tragically, Mr. Nelson is far from the only driver who has gotten drunk and travelled at high speed down the wrong lane of the Tollway.
