A taxicab driver was recently injured in a wreck in a wreck in downtown Dallas. The accident occurred when the taxi broadsided another car. The force of the accident injured the driver and also a man who was outside of the other car. Some of the cab's seven passengers suffered minor injuries, but none required a trip to the hospital. The cab driver, along with the man connected to the other car, were both taken to area hospitals for treatment.

One injured in incident in Frisco convenience store
One worker was injured in a scuffle today in a Frisco convenience store. Authorities report that a man was attempting to rob the store by allegedly asking the cashier for money. Another employee believed his co-worker was being threatened, and approached the criminal from behind. The second worker struggled with the would-be robber, suffering injuries to his back and leg. The cashier was not injured. The criminal ran away without any money. Authorities are continuing to investigate.

Former Cowboys player sues over injuries incurred in facility collapse
Former Dallas Cowboys tight end and long snapper Jamar Hunt is suing several companies over injuries he suffered as a result of the collapse of the team's practice facilities last year. Hunt's neck was injured in the incident, when the 86-foot tall facility fell apart during a thunderstorm. Hunt's suit alleges that the companies that created and built the facility were negligent in its design and maintenance. He accuses the companies of misleading the Dallas Cowboys about the quality of repairs made to the structure in 2008.
