Wrong Way Driver Raises Important Legal Issues
I-20 wasn’t just a highway Sunday morning. It was also the scene of a crime, and the location of a tort with related damages that could extend into the millions.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a drunk driver whose blood alcohol content (BAC) was three times the legal limit hopped on I-20 going east. The problem: he was in a westbound lane. Just a few terrifying minutes later, the SUV slammed into a Chevy Monte Carlo head-on, killing the drunk driver’s passenger and sending the driver of the sedan to a nearby hospital.
Drunk driving and wrong way accidents happen all too often. Perhaps even more tragic, however, is that many victims don’t pursue their legal rights. They only think of their accident as an accident, not a legal event. That’s understandable, but it’s costly. Victims of drunk driving accidents and their families can receive damage awards and compensation stretching into the millions. Victims who don’t act, walk away from dollars that could help them rebuild their lives.

Child Killed by Careless Driver
A four-year-old child in Oak Cliff died this week when a car inadvertently backed up, striking him and causing fatal injuries. Reports from the accident reveal that the child suffered injuries across his body, including head trauma.
This week’s tragic “back over” accident is indicative of the hundreds of these kinds of accidents that happen every year. Frequently, the automobile involved is large, often an SUV, and the child is small, generally less than five-years-old. The risks are tragically complimentary: the child is difficult to see and the car’s large blind spots make it difficult to see out of it.
Has your child been hurt as a result of an automobile accident, such as a back over accident? The time to act is now. Memories fade, investigations go cold, evidence deteriorates, and legal claims become stale. The faster you contact the professionals at
Fears | Nachawati, the better are your chances of successful litigation. Let us fight for you! We can protect your legal interests and help your family recover. For your free consultation, call 1.866.322.6898 or email http://www.fnlawfirm.com/contact.cfm.

Teen Pedestrian Struck by Car
A high school senior at Fort Worth’s Central High was struck by a passing car yesterday morning, sending him to John Peter Smith Hospital via CareFlite. Neither his condition nor his identity have been released by officials, prompting some safety experts to worry that the situation may be serious.
While it’s true that most automobile accidents occur when one car collides with another, pedestrian related accidents are on the rise as an increasing number of motorists live in more densely populated cities and towns. These accidents are serious and all too frequently, pedestrian victims and their families don’t fight for their rights!
Fears | Nachawati defends automobile accident victims, protecting their rights, ensuring they receive medical care, and fighting for their financial compensation. If you’ve been injured in an automobile accident, whether as a pedestrian or driver, you should give us a call. We can help!
