Fiery, Fatal Accident in Dallas Damages, Destroys Cars

Northwest Highway has long been one of the more dangerous roads in North Dallas. Reasonable drivers know that because of its frequent hills and curves it’s best not to speed.

Tragically, earlier this week a dangerous driver ignored the necessity of precaution, tearing along Northwest Highway until he was suddenly – and fatally – stopped when his BMW slammed into several cars. When the violent accident had come to an end, a total of five cars were damaged or destroyed, including the high-speed BMW that burst into flames when it finally came to a rest.

Fears | Nachawati specializes in these kind of violent, reckless, fatal accidents. If you or a loved one are involved in a high-speed wreck, you should trust your legal claims and financial interests to our experienced lawyers. Carbon Monoxide Threatens Five in Grand Prairie

Products liability is an important area of the law that is dedicated to protecting the legal rights, health, and financial interests of consumers like you. The cold spell that has descended on the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex this week has raised important products liability questions for North Texas lawyers and their clients.

Tired of bracing against the cold, a Grand Prairie family that had been grilling outdoors decided to drag their grill into their garage. They were hoping to get warm. However, they weren’t thinking about the exhaust from the fire – and the potentially fatal carbon monoxide gas they were inhaling. Fortunately, paramedics and neighbors succeeded in reintroducing oxygen into the garage in time to save the family.

Without question, the purchasers and users of grills have a duty to take reasonable care when using a product. Still, blaming the victim doesn’t relieve manufacturers of the twin duties to make a safe product and warn consumers of a product’s dangers.

Has a household product harmed you? You may have not only suffered from the product, but also from the manufacturer’s failure to warn you of the risks or provide adequate protections. Are you ready to find out about how to protect your rights against dangerous products? Talk to the product liability experts at Fears | Nachawati today. Elderly Driver May Have Inadvertently Killed Teen on Highway

The risks associated with drunk and drowsy driving are well documented. The risks that America’s elderly drivers impose, however, are less frequently mentioned. Nevertheless, those risks remain significant, and today, a Fort Worth family is suffering in the wake of a negligent, older driver.

According to a preliminary investigation, on an otherwise quiet night earlier this week a 17-year-old from Lake Worth was driving along Highway 199 when a 72-year-old driving the wrong way down the highway appeared in his lane. The teen took evasive action, but it was too little, too late and the cars collided. Sadly, both drivers died at the scene – and as a result, the teen’s family is struggling to come to terms with what their next steps should be.

As a result of our many years of experience with tragic situations such as the one that took place on the eve of Thanksgiving, the personal injury and wrongful death attorneys at Fears | Nachawati understand the emotional pain and suffering that families go through when a loved one is lost to a drunk, drowsy, or elderly driver. If you’ve suffered at the hands of another driver’s negligence, contact us immediately. For your free consultation, call us at 1.866.322.6898 or email us at http://www.fnlawfirm.com/contact.cfm.

Slick Road Contributes to Deadly 18-Wheeler Accident

Rain fell across North Texas this week, causing wet streets and dangerous driving conditions. Yesterday these risky conditions combined with reckless driving to result in the untimely death of Regina Raquel Duane, a 43-year-old mother. Ms. Duane was killed – and her 15-year-old child injured – when an 18-wheeler struck their pickup truck.

Every year, 18-wheelers cause considerably more property damage and personal injury than most drivers realize. At 80,000 pounds, 40 times the weight of the average car, these behemoths of the highway are difficult to steer and impossible to stop quickly in wet conditions. If 18-wheeler drivers are improperly trained or driving carelessly, it’s passenger drivers who are most likely to pay the price – and that price is often high!

With dedicated training and years of experience, the attorneys at Fears | Nachawati have the expertise to protect the rights of 18-wheeler accident victims. If you or a loved one have been in an accident with a big rig, you probably have considerable property and personal injury claims. Don’t sit on your rights! Talk to us today to find out the recovery you may be able to expect. For your free consultation, call us at 1.866.322.6898 or email us at http://www.fnlawfirm.com/contact.cfm. Let us help you!

Driver and Passenger Killed in Single Car Collision

Two women died tragically yesterday when the car in which they were riding slammed into a telephone poll. Images of the accident suggest the force of the collision: the telephone poll split the front end of the car and debris from all parts of the vehicle was strewn in a wide arc around the totaled automobile. Although rescue workers customarily tear into a damaged car in an attempt to save the occupants, yesterday they merely draped a large cloth over the front seats. Both women died immediately as a result of the crash.

In the wake of catastrophic accidents such as this, families of passengers are often left facing important legal questions. What is a wrongful death lawsuit? Can the passenger’s next-of-kin file a lawsuit on behalf of the deceased? Is it worth it in my case?

Having handled personal injury, automobile accident, and wrongful death cases in the D/FW area for years, the attorneys at Fears | Nachawati know the emotional pain that your family is going through and the difficult questions you’re struggling to address. As skilled lawyers and understanding professionals, we’re able to provide you with the personal concern and legal advice that you need. When you’re ready to understand more about the legal rights in your wrongful death case, give us a call. For your free consultation, call 1.866.322.6898 or email http://www.fnlawfirm.com/contact.cfm.
