Pipelines in fatal natural gas explosion were not properly marked

Investigators have determined that buried pipelines involved in two recent accidents where three workers were killed were not properly marked. The accidents occurred in Johnson County and in the Panhandle. Workers were digging in their respective locations when they struck a pipe and caused an explosion. Several lawsuits are pending over the incidents.
