The driver of a tractor-trailer was killed earlier this week when his truck was struck by a train in Liberty County, near Houston. Authorities report that a Union Pacific train collided with the truck near the intersection of County Road 622 and FM 1960. The train engineer blew the train's horn before the collision. The truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene. None of the workers on the train were physically injured. The train was not carrying any hazardous materials, and authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
