A Dallas motorcycle police officer was injured when the motorcycle he was riding struck a pothole. The officer was part of a motorcade escorting President Obama from Love Field airport to a home in Highland Park. The incident occurred on Wycliff Avenue near its intersection with Congress Avenue. The officer was taken to Parkland Hospital for observation overnight and released the next day.
