Injured Dallas Cowboys workers settle lawsuit

Two people who were injured in the Dallas Cowboys practice facility collapse in 2009 have settled their claims. Companies controlled by Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys franchise, paid out about $10 million to settle the claims. One worker was paralyzed from the waist down and the other suffered a broken back when the practice facility collapsed during a wind storm. Both individuals still work for the Cowboys, and they did not sue the team, only the owner of the practice facility and the land on which it stood.
