A Plano police officer was hurt during a recent drug bust. The officer, who has not been identified, was injured when he was trying to arrest a suspect at a Jack in the Box restaurant in far north Plano. Seven undercover officers were present at the time. The suspect struggled with the officers, injuring one as he attempted to escape. The suspect did not get away. The officer is expected to make a full recovery.
